The study synthesizes theoretical approaches developed in musicology, acoustics, and psychoacoustics, highlighting the interdisciplinary character of timbre research and the absence of a unified terminological framework capable of fully describing its complex nature. Particular attention is paid to the historical evolution of timbre from a secondary parameter of sound to an independent expressive and structural component of musical composition, especially in the context of Romantic and twentieth-century music. The research outlines key classifications of timbre, including distinctions between real and illusory timbre, instrumental, harmonic, registral, and textural timbres, as well as dynamic aspects such as timbral intensity, permanence, and polychromy. The concept of timbre coloration (timbre coloristic complex) is analyzed as a synthetic category integrating acoustic, structural, and perceptual parameters of sound. Special emphasis is placed on timbral dramaturgy as an intonational process that shapes both the expressive content and the formal development of musical works. The article also addresses the relationship between timbre and musical form through vertical, horizontal, and diagonal parameters, demonstrating the structural and semantic potential of timbre in shaping musical syntax and compositional logic. As a result, timbre is interpreted as a multifunctional element capable of performing differentiating and integrative roles within the musical system. Окреслено основні підходи до визначення ролі категорії оцінки в мовному дискурсі та розглянуто її класифікації, що дає підстави говорити про такі типи оцінок, як інструментальну, технічну, оцінку благосприй-няття, етичну, утилітарну, медичну, гедоністичну, а також психологічну, естетичну, нормативну, теологічну, антропоцентричну, національно-етнографічну, філософську, сексуальну, ідеологічну тощо, які виявляють себе на всіх мовних рівнях. It is proven that this branch has close ties with many linguistic disciplines, and the problems of evaluation and values have long been the subject of scientific interest of scientists and philosophers. The main approaches to determining the role of the category of evaluation in linguistic discourse are outlined and a number of its classifications are considered, which give grounds to talk about such types of evaluations as instrumental, technical, evaluation of well-being, ethical, utilitarian, medical, hedonistic, as well as psychological, aesthetic, normative, theological, anthropocentric, national-ethnographic, philosophical, sexual, ideological, etc., which manifest themselves at all linguistic levels. The main ways of representing the category of evaluation at different linguistic levels are considered, in particular, the multifaceted nature of the category of evaluation is confirmed through the prism of vocabulary, phraseology, grammar, syntax, stylistics and pragmatics. The axiological potential of language units of different levels is outlined, based on the concepts of Ukrainian linguists (T. Kosmeda, O. Khaliman, V. Kononenko, Zh. Krasnobaeva-Chorna and others). It is confirmed that a significant role in expressing anthropocentric and cultural-aesthetic evaluation belongs to phraseological units. Based on the research of many scholars, information on the evaluative-expressive capabilities of grammatical categories has been systematized, in particular gender (evaluative marking of the opposition «masculine – feminine», where the semantics of devaluation is often associated with the feminine gender, as well as the expressive capabilities of the neuter and common genders), number (cases of using the plural instead of the singular to express respect, contempt or hyperbolization have been considered), case (its limited, but existing potential in the context of a language game has been confirmed). At the syntactic level, types of evaluative sentences (generally evaluative and partially evaluative) that depend on the position of the subject and object of evaluation are described. The structure of the evaluative situation is outlined, with the identification of such components as subject, object, predicate, and means of expression. Використання антропонімів у заголовках сприяє створенню ефекту наближеності інформації до читача, активізує фонові знання аудиторії та забезпечує високий рівень атрак-тивності новинного контенту. Особливо продуктивними є антропоніми у воєнному медіадискурсі, де вони виконують меморіальну, емоційно-експресивну та консолідаційну функції.У статті наголошено, що в умовах інтернет-дискурсу власні назви стають важливими елементами пошукової оптимізації медіатекстів. Оніми функціонують як ключові слова-маркери, за допомогою яких користувачі та пошукові системи ідентифікують релевантність інформації. Результати дослідження засвідчили, що власні назви є одним із ключових структурно-семантичних компонентів заголовків новинних медіатекстів Тернопільщини. Оніми забезпечують точність, інформативність і прагматичну виразність заголовків, формують локальний медіапростір та сприяють ефективній взаємодії між медіа й аудиторією. The paper presents a functional and stylistic analysis of onyms in the headlines of news media texts published in regional online media outlets of Ternopil region, including “Ternopoliany”, “20 Khvylyn Ternopil”, “Hazeta Number One”, “Ternopilska Lypa”, “Teren”, “Terminovo”, and “Svoboda”. The main attention is focused on the study of anthroponyms, toponyms, and other types of proper names actively functioning in the modern regional media discourse. The structural and semantic features of headlines are analyzed, the main functions of onyms are determined, and their influence on the reader is characterized. The article establishes that anthroponyms and toponyms are the most productive types of proper names in the headlines of news media texts of the Ternopil region. Anthroponyms ensure the personalization of news, specify the subject of the message, create an emotional connection with the audience, and enhance the social significance of events. Regional online media actively use the names of politicians, military personnel, volunteers, public figures, artists, and other public personalities. The use of anthroponyms in headlines contributes to creating the effect of proximity between the reader and the news event, activates the audience’s background knowledge, and ensures a high level of attractiveness of news content. Anthroponyms are especially productive in wartime media discourse, where they perform memorial, emotional-expressive, and conso-lidating functions. The article emphasizes that under the conditions of Internet discourse, proper names become important elements of search engine optimization of media texts. Onyms function as keyword markers through which users and search engines identify the relevance of information. The results of the study demonstrate that proper names are one of the key structural and semantic components of headlines in news media texts of the Ternopil region. Onyms ensure the accuracy, informativeness, and pragmatic expressiveness of headlines, shape the local media space, and contribute to effective interaction between media and audience.
