Інваріантне значення та структура полісемантичного слова

Abstract

The semantic structure of polysemantic linquistic units has been discussed in the paper. The methodological approach called “meaning — sense ” is shown in the article. The method predetermines two kinds of the semantic content of the same linguistic unit — the invariant in language and the variable in speech. The invariant semantic content is termed “meaning ” and the variable — “sense ”. Тік process of generating different exact senses of the same linguistic unit in speech and the invariant meaning determined by the language semantic system are shown in the article.
