З’ясовано особливості конструкції й уточнено термінологію назв деяких старозавітних артефактів (такий підхід сприяє розвитку історично інформованого виконавства). Систематизовано знання про біблійну органологію як живий ключ до розуміння витоків українського та світового музичного мистецтва. Виявлено взаємозв’язки між інструментаріями народів Месопотамії, Єгипту та Іудеї й проаналізовано їх рецепцію в екзегетиці Середньовіччя, іконографії Ренесансу і музичному мисленні Нового часу. Доведено роль старозавітної символіки як семіотичного ресурсу. Адаптовано дані до освітніх програм бакалаврату і магістратури українських академій та університетів. Викладено класифікацію біблійних музичних інструментів за універсальною системою Горнбостеля-Закса й запропоновано нові підходи стосовно тлумачення орга-нологічної символіки від кантиляції та псалмодії до сучасних форм. Окреслено перспективи розробки цифрових платформ із науковими реконструкціями автентичного звучання давніх інструментів.; Relevance of the study. This article addresses critical gaps in Ukrainian higher music educa-tion regarding ancient musical cultures by expanding the factual database, providing scientific veri-fication of archaic instrumentation, and employing a multidisciplinary framework. By integrating theology, liturgics, archaeology, cultural studies, and musicology, the research clarifies the nomen-clature and structural features of biblical instruments while advancing the field of historically in-formed performance. Main objective of the study. The article aims to systematize data on biblical instruments and their historical reception, adapting these findings for core curricula at the Bachelor’s (History of Music, Organology) and Master’s (Musical Styles and Genres) levels within Ukraine's higher music education system. Methodological Framework. A comprehensive methodological approach is utilized, synthe-sizing general scientific methods (induction, deduction, analysis, and synthesis) with specialized musicological tools, including semiotic, historical-genetic, organological, and contextual analyses. Results. The study posits that biblical organology is not merely a static historical relic but a vital key to understanding the genesis and symbolism of European and Ukrainian musical traditions. Beyond Hebrew and Judean instruments, the Old Testament provides insights into their counter-parts in Mesopotamia and Egypt. These instruments, analyzed in the exegesis of Medieval church scholars and depicted in Renaissance religious iconography, served as a primary semiotic resource that shaped Western European musical thought in the Early Modern era. Practical Significance. The findings enhance the «History of Music» curriculum by refining terminology and academic rigor; contribute to «Organology» by reclassifying biblical instruments according to the Hornbostel-Sachs system; and aid the "Musical Styles and Genres" course by in-terpreting organological symbolism from ancient cantillation to modern liturgical forms. Research Prospects. Future directions include developing specialized courses based on Western pedagogical models and launching digital platforms that integrate organological descrip-tions with scientific acoustic reconstructions of authentic ancient sounds.
