Екологічні дослідження поселенських ландшафтів

Abstract

Landscape-ecological (eco-landscape) approach allows us to give an integrated assessment of the ecological condition of each landscape complex at the level of morphological units of the landscape. Settlement landscapes are the main class of landscapes that need modern and predictive ecological assessment, further ecological monitoring, as well as the identification of environmental problems within them and outlining ways to solve the latter. Modern settlement landscapes are integral compact areas of concentration, functioning, interaction of production, socio-demographic, infrastructural, organizational-controlled natural subsystem-blocks, which are interconnected by human life, their production and non-production activities, information flows, natural and man-made substances and energy.
