Партисипативний підхід до планування зелених публічних просторів у містах

Abstract

Contemporary views on studies of green public spaces spatial distribution in cities are analyzed. The ideas of Arnstein’s “ladder of public participation” in terms of assessment of local residents’ involvement in planning and decision-making on urban development including green public spaces planning are discussed. The main findings of the studies of green public spaces distribution inside different kinds of cities are considered. Their peculiarities in the cities in post- Soviet space are identified. The case study results of green public spaces planning and dwellers engagement in Kyiv’s new neighborhood are presented.
