Спогади про Богдана Лепкого як феномен культурної спадщини

Abstract

У статті розглянуто спогади про Богдана Лепкого (1872-1941) як феномен культурної спадщини. Проаналізовано спогади родичів, друзів і колег як цінне джерело у вивченні основних періодів життя Б. Лепкого, дослідженні маловідомих сторінок діяльності митця. Розкрито зміст мемуарів, бібліографія яких налічує понад тридцять позицій. Наголошено, що сучасники створили творчий портрет видатного українського письменника та громадсько-культурного діяча, змалювали його як людину, митця й патріота.

The paper deals with memories of Bohdan Lepkyi (1872-1941) as a phenomenon of cultural heritage. It analyses the memoirs of relatives, friends and colleagues as a valuable source for studying the main periods of B. Lepkyi’s life and for researching the little-known sides of the artist’s activity. The article reveals the content of the memoirs, whose bibliography includes more than thirty items. It is emphasised that his contemporaries portrayed him as an outstanding Ukrainian writer, public and cultural figure, man, artist and patriot.
