Моделі іменування особи на Гуцульщині в писемних пам’ятках XV-XVI ст.

Abstract

The thesis is dedicated to the investigation into Hutsul family names in their historic development starting from the XV-th century till presence. The written records of the XV-first half of the XX-th century testify that the most typical way of naming people was double name with the oatronymic name as the second name. The analysis of modern Hutsul family names points to the fact that they have become an integral part of the Ukrainian antroponymyc system preserving at the same time their regional peculiarities.
