Abstract

The main aspects of bioregionalism (ecoregionalism) as an idea of decentralization are highlighted on the example of the Chugaliv Starostyn district of the Kremenets territorial community. It has been established that bioregionalism (ecoregionalism) is an approach to the organization and management of natural resources and the environment based on the division of territory into ecoregions or ecological regions. Each ecoregion is characterized by specific natural conditions, climate, geology, biodiversity and other factors. The ecoregional approach assumes that natural resource management and environmental protection must be adapted to the specific conditions of each ecoregion.
