Історико-географічні особливості формування планувальної структури міста Борщів

Abstract

У статті розглянуто історико-географічні особливості формування планувальної структури міста Борщів. На розвиток міста суттєво вплинули природні фактори у вигляді розчленованого рельєфу, гідрографічної мережі та різноманітності ландшафтів. У процесі розвитку міста змінилося його планування від оборонного до регулярного, зміненого у ХІХ-ХХ століттях індустріалізацією та масовою житловою забудовою. У Борщеві збереглися декілька цінних архітектурних пам’яток.

The article examines the historical and geographical features of the formation of the planning structure of the city of Borshchiv. The development of the city was significantly influenced by natural factors in the form of fragmented relief, hydrographic network and diversity of landscapes. In the process of the city's development, its planning changed from defensive to regular, changed in the 19th and 20th centuries by industrialization and massive residential construction. Several valuable architectural monuments have survived in Borshchev.
