| Abstract: | The dynamics of the Democracy Index worldwide have been analyzed. This index is determined based on five categories using a survey-based methodology: electoral process and pluralism, functioning of government, political participation, political culture, and civil liberties. The spatial distribution of countries across four regime types has been identified ‒ full democracies, flawed democracies, hybrid regimes, and authoritarian regimes. |
