Abstract

The article explores modern approaches to the development of historical-themed tourist routes as a tool for preserving national memory, promoting cultural heritage, and fostering patriotic consciousness. Particular attention is given to the methodology of designing routes based on historical events, taking into account interdisciplinary collaboration, the use of innovative technologies, storytelling, gamification, and the engagement of local communities. The article highlights the importance of authenticity, emotional engagement, and inclusivity in shaping the tourist experience. The scientific foundation of the analysis is grounded in the works of both Ukrainian and international scholars who examine the interconnection between heritage, memory, and tourism. A systematic approach is proposed for route creation, integrating research work, logistical planning, and digital solutions to ensure the quality of the tourism product and sustainable regional development.
