Дигіталізація пам’яті та філософське осмислення історичної ідентичності

Abstract

Актуальність дослідження зумовлена зростанням ролі цифрових технологій у процесах збереження та репрезентації історичного досвіду, що істотно впливає на формування історичної свідомості та ідентичності сучасного суспільства. У цифрову добу історична пам’ять дедалі частіше функціонує в медіатизованому й алгоритмічно опосередкованому середовищі, що змінює способи осмислення минулого, актуалізує нові форми історичного саморозуміння та водночас породжує ризики фрагментації, спрощення й маніпуляції історичними наративами. Метою дослідження є філософське осмислення трансформації історичної пам’яті в умовах дигіталізації та аналіз її впливу на формування історичної ідентичності. У межах досягнення поставленої мети увагу зосереджено на виявленні змін у способах переживання історичного досвіду, систематизації форм дигіталізованої пам’яті та з’ясуванні їхнього ідентифікаційного потенціалу. Методологічну основу дослідження становлять філософський аналіз, герменевтичний підхід, методи узагальнення, порівняння та міждисциплінарного синтезу, що дозволило поєднати концепти філософії пам’яті, культурології й досліджень цифрових медіа. У результаті дослідження встановлено, що дигіталізація історичної пам’яті трансформує не лише форми її збереження, а й саму логіку переживання історичного досвіду, скорочуючи часову дистанцію між минулим і теперішнім та посилюючи емоційний вимір історичного сприйняття. Запропоновано авторську типологію форм дигіталізованої історичної пам’яті, яка охоплює архівну, меморіальну, медійно-наративну та алгоритмічну пам’ять, і розкриває специфіку їхнього впливу на формування історичної ідентичності. Сформульовано авторське визначення дигіталізованої історичної пам’яті як динамічного соціокультурного простору смислотворення та історичного самовизначення. Практична цінність отриманих результатів полягає в можливості їх використання в дослідженнях історичної пам’яті та ідентичності, а також у розробленні освітніх, музейних і медіапроєктів, орієнтованих на відповідальну цифрову репрезентацію історичного досвіду

The relevance of this study is determined by the growing role of digital technologies in the processes of preserving and representing historical experience, which significantly affects the formation of historical consciousness and identity in contemporary society. In the digital age, historical memory increasingly functions within a mediatized and algorithmically mediated environment, transforming the ways in which the past is interpreted, activating new forms of historical self-understanding, and at the same time generating risks of fragmentation, simplification, and manipulation of historical narratives. The aim of the study is to provide a philosophical reflection on the transformation of historical memory under conditions of digitalization and to analyze its impact on the formation of historical identity. To achieve this aim, the research focuses on identifying changes in the ways historical experience is lived and perceived, systematizing the forms of digitalized memory, and clarifying their identification potential. The methodological framework of the study is based on philosophical analysis, the hermeneutic approach, and methods of generalization, comparison, and interdisciplinary synthesis, which made it possible to integrate concepts from memory studies, cultural studies, and digital media research. The results demonstrate that the digitalization of historical memory transforms not only the forms of its preservation but also the very logic of experiencing historical experience, reducing the temporal distance between the past and the present and intensifying the emotional dimension of historical perception. An original typology of digitalized historical memory is proposed, encompassing archival, memorial, media-narrative, and algorithmic memory, and revealing the specific features of their influence on the formation of historical identity. An authorial definition of digitalized historical memory is formulated as a dynamic sociocultural space of meaning-making and historical self-determination. The practical significance of the research lies in the possibility of applying its results in studies of historical memory and identity, as well as in the development of educational, museum, and media projects aimed at responsible digital representation of historical experience.
