Аналіз функціональних можливостей цифрових застосунків для іншомовної підготовки майбутніх учителів природничо-математичних дисциплін

Abstract

Обґрунтовано актуальність використання цифрових застосунків в іншомовній підготовці май- бутніх учителів природничо-математичних дисциплін, з огляду на потребу працювати з фаховими іншомовними джерелами, формувати термінологічну лексику, мовлення та комунікативні моделі педагогічної взаємодії. Мета статті: проаналізувати функціональні можливості цифрових застосунків і визначити дидактично доцільні підходи до їх добору та комбінування в освітньому модулі. Методи дослідження: теоретичний аналіз наукових джерел із мобільного та цифрового навчання мов, якісний контент-аналіз функцій застосунків і порівняльний аналіз їх потенціалу щодо розвитку видів мовленнєвої діяльності. Виокремлено критерії добору інструментів та описі цифрових застосунків для вивчення мови: Readlang, ChatGPT і MagicSchool AI, Miro. Запропоновано приклади завдань і рекомендації щодо інтеграції цифрових застосунків у короткий навчальний модуль іншомовної підготовки майбутніх учителів природничо-математичних дисциплін. Їх комплексне використання забезпечує поетапну організацію іншомовної діяльності студентів від сприймання та осмислення фахового іншомовного тексту до продуктивного використання іноземної мови в комунікації.

The article substantiates the relevance of using digital applications in foreign language training for preservice teachers of the natural sciences and mathematics, given the growing need to work with professional foreignlanguage sources, develop terminological vocabulary, and form speech and communicative patterns necessary for pedagogical interaction in multilingual educational settings. The article aims to analyze the functional capabilities of digital applications and to determine didactically appropriate approaches to their selection, combination, and pedagogical integration within a short educational module. Research methods: theoretical analysis of scienti􀂿c sources on mobile-assisted and digital language learning, qualitative content analysis of the functions of selected applications, and comparative analysis of their potential for developing di􀵵erent types of speech activity, including reading, speaking, writing, and collaborative communication. The study identi􀂿es the main criteria for selecting digital tools: functional compliance with educational objectives, quality of feedback, opportunities for personalization, support for group interaction, potential to create educational content, and assessment capabilities. The article characterizes the didactic potential of several digital programs for foreign language training, including Readlang for reading comprehension and vocabulary development, ChatGPT and MagicSchool AI for language assistance and methodological design, Canva for visualization and creation of educational materials, and Miro for projectbased collaboration and peer assessment. Examples of tasks and recommendations for integrating digital applications into a short educational module for pre-service teachers of natural sciences and mathematics are proposed. Their comprehensive use provides a phased organization of students' foreign language activities from the perception and comprehension of a professional foreign language text to the productive use of a foreign language in communication.
