| Abstract: | Spatial planning is essential for the rational use of territorial communities’ resources. Territories are viewed as results of social processes that shape their spatial organization. The study analyzes metric characteristics of communities in Ternopil region, including functional types of centers, area size, distance from district hubs, and accessibility level. The significance of these factors for spatial differentiation and development under decentralization is highlighted. |
