Полонізми-оніми в говірках Волинського Полісся і Підляшшя

Abstract

У статті розглянуто полонізми-оніми у західнополіському діалекті української мови на матеріалі волинсько-поліських та підляських говірок, що функціонують у різних державах. Актуальність розвідки зумовлена потребою комплексного аналізу власних назв польського походження, які досі залишалися на перифе рії діалектологічних та ономастичних студій. Метою дослідження є порівняння особливостей уживання антропонімних полонізмів у двох говіркових групах, а також з’ясування їхньої структурної, мотиваційної специфіки. Матеріал дослідження охоплює прізвища, власні особові імена, їхні варіанти та прізвиська, зафіксовані у словниках, діалектних текстах і художніх джерелах. Заявлено, що полонізми в антропонімії є різночасовими: у волинсько-поліських говірках вони здебільшого пов’язані з міжвоєнним періодом перебування регіону у складі Польщі, тоді як у підляських говірках польський вплив є безперервним і зумовлений постійним мовним контактом. Нових прізвищ-полонізмів серед мешканців Волинського Полісся у повоєнний період не виявлено, але фіксо вано полонізми-ононіми серед варіантів власних імен (Matěusz ˂ Matvii, Jantek ˂ Anton, Józsek ˂ Josyp, Jákub ˂ Jaków, Gęna ˂ Jevheniia, Kásʹa ˂ Kateryna), дещо менше серед прізвиськ (Basya, Vladzo, Kazik, Ksiądz, Polachók, Tómash, Tsięcia). Визначено, що варіанти власних особових імен є найбільш продуктивним і динамічним шаром онімної лексики, який найшвидше реагує на міжмовні кон такти. Виявлено серед полонізмів-прізвищ 161 назву, серед полонізмів-імен та їхніх варіантів – 128 назв, 94 назви серед полонізмів-прізвиськ. Отримані резуль тати поглиблюють уявлення про ономастичні процеси в умовах багатомовності та мають значення для подальших діалектологічних досліджень.

The article deals with Polish borrowings of proper names in West Polissia dialect of the Ukrainian language on the material of Volynian Polissia and Podlasie subdialects functioning in different countries. The relevance of this research is determined by the need for a comprehensive analysis of proper names of Polish origin which have remained on the periphery of dialectological and onomastic studies so far. The aim of the study is to compare the features of the use of anthroponymic Polish borrowings in two dialect groups as well as to find out their structural and motivational specifics. The research material includes surnames, names, their variants and nicknames registered in dictionaries, dialect texts and literature sources. The research demonstrates that Polish borrowings in the anthroponomy occurred in different times: in the Volynian Polissia subdialects they are mostly related to the interwar period when the region was part of Poland while in the Podlasie subdialects the Polish influence is continuous and due to constant linguistic contact. No new borrowings of Polish surnames among Volynian Polissia inhabitants in the postwar period have been detected, but there are defined proper names borrowed form Polish among variants of proper names (Matěusz ˂ Matvii, Jantek ˂ Anton, Józsek ˂ Josyp, Jákub ˂ Jaków, Gęna ˂ Jevheniia, Kásʹa ˂ Kateryna), a bit less of them among nicknames (Basya, Vladzo, Kazik, Ksiądz, Polachók, Tómash, Tsięcia). It has been determined that variants of personal names are the most productive and dynamic layer of onymic vocabulary because it reacts most quickly to interlingual contacts. There are 161 items detected among borrowings of Polish surnames, 128 items among borrowings of Polish names and their variants and 94 items among borrowings of Polish nicknames. The results obtained deepen our understanding of onomastic processes in multilingual environments and are important for further dialectological research.
