Abstract: The article focuses on the Polish experience and problems of youth preparation for family life. It raises the question the need to strengthen the role of school in conducting sex education and training young people for family life in Polish schools.The author anlyzes the changes that occur in the consciousness and sexual activity of young people, the state of famiy education and the development of pedagogical theory on the present;reveals the role of school in the process of such activity.The papernpresents views of Polish scientists on the role of family in the life of a person. The educational program of the school subgect "Upbringing for life in the family" and the main Polish ways to create a strong family and provide moral foundations in society were presented, the experience of Polish teachers-practitioners in improving the efficiency of education and organization of educational process were considered. The paper also presents thematic blocks of questions for discussion with pupils of different typesof schools in Poland, the purpose of the course "Youth Preparation for a Family Life" in the Polish School is defined.
